“As the Story Goes”, Corrina Bridget was born and raised in a small town in southern Vermont. Corrina realized her interest in music very early and started showing her vocal abilities at the age of five inspired by a pianist mother and a music-loving father. Later on, song-writing came naturally for her and as she was developing her lyrical style, songs were based on personal life experience, observation of people’s emotions and relationships.
Corrina’s piano and guitar playing is self-taught and now is a part of her own identity. At the age of 23 she made a bold decision to head for Nashville, the “Music City”, “to make my name” and establish herself as a singer-songwriter on a bigger stage. There she started her own career, writing and performing, she released a few singles, “Breaking News” and “Lilacs”, which are very much autobiographical work.
Her debut album, “Soft Love”, is at the final stage of production. This is Corrina’s collaborative work with Vadeco Schettini, a producer and an owner of Astrolabio Studio in south Brazil and Dan Hannon, presently the record producer for Ivy Manor Music/Muscle Shoals, AL. This album is a remarkable work by Corrina with these producers and a team of great musicians. Corrina’s natural charming presence combined with her soulful lyrics form the perfect recipe.
